Dedmon Center Park

Facility Overview

Situated along the banks of the New River, Dedmon Center Park is one of the most beautiful places to watch collegiate baseball in the mid-atlantic region.

One of the first intercollegiate facilities added after the completion of the Dedmon Center, DCP has remained at the forefront of college baseball facilities of its size thanks to several improvements through the years.

The field features challenging dimensions, with straightaway center at exactly 400 feet. The park is 330 feet down the lines and 375 to the power alleys.

The press box is an enclosed facility that has ample seating and amenities for working media and game staff. It includes a climate control system that maintains a comfortable temperature inside.

On the field level are dugouts for both teams, designed to match the architecture of the Dedmon Center and surrounding buildings, as well as batting cages adjacent to the field on the first base side.
