CHARLOTTE, N.C.Petra Dajevic (Zagreb, Croatia/Sportska gimnazija), Mia Drobnjak (Zagreb, Croatia/Sportska gimnazija) and Ally Spector (Laurel, Md./Reservoir) of the Radford women’s tennis team have earned all-conference accolades, as announced by the league office Wednesday.

Dajevic and Drobnjak were named to the singles all-conference squad, while Spector was selected all-academic.

Playing the top singles spot for the Highlanders this spring, Dajevic recorded an overall record of 14-6. During the month of March, she was a perfect 8-0 with all but one of her wins coming in straight sets. The duo of Dajevic and Ivana Tomaic tallied a 10-3 doubles mark at the top spot.

Along with posting a 16-5 record at the No. 2 singles position, Drobnjak recorded the club's top conference mark going 4-3. In doubles play, Drobnjak teamed with Spector to go 11-7 at the second spot.

“How exciting it is to have two freshmen make the all-conference team,” commented head coach Bruce Harrison. “It is a great statement for this year and for the years to come”.

Spector was named to the academic all-conference team for her work in the classroom as well as on the court. Spector carries a 4.0 grade point average and is majoring in communication science and disorders along with minoring in Spanish.

Named Radford's Most Outstanding Student on separate occasions, Spector has been on the Dean's List every semester. A three-time member of the Big South's Presidential Honor Roll, Spector was recently awarded a the league's SunBelt Rentals Scholarship.
