Profile:
Jenn McKenzie serves as an assistant athletic trainer for RU Athletics. She is responsible for covering the sports of women's soccer, Women's Soccer, Men's & Women's Cross Country/Track & Field
McKenzie's duties include practice and game-day athletic training services for the student-athletes in his sports. She travels with each team to provide the same services on the road. McKenzie is also responsible for the daily upkeep, maintenance and record keeping of the athletic training room located in Patrick D. Cupp Memorial Stadium.
As part of her duties, McKenzie is responsible for continuing education. She is an approved Clinical Instructor for CAAHEP Athletic Training Education Program Students. She also instructs and certifies coaches and staff in CPR and first aid.
Prior to coming to Radford in 2004, McKenzie was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Old Dominion from 2002-2004. While there she was responsible for athletic training coverage of the women's lacrosse and baseball teams. She also assisted with coverage of other varsity teams and recreational athletes. She also assisted in atheltic training room upkeep and record keeping.
McKenzie also has been an atheltic trainer at Old Dominion's summer camps and at the National Senior Games.
A certified athletic trainer, McKenzie received a Bachelor's of Science from Slippery Rock in 2002 and a Master's from Old Dominion in 2004. A native of Johnston, Pa. , she resides in Radford, Va with her husband Kenn.
