Dr. N. Ray Tuck, Jr.
Team Chiropractic Physician
Dr. N. Ray Tuck, Jr. is a 1994 alumnus of Radford University with a B.S. in Physical Science. He continued his education at the National College of Chiropractic obtaining a second B.S. in Human Biology in 1995 and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in December 1997.
Dr. Tuck opened his first practice with his father, Dr. Nathaniel R. Tuck, Sr., in Blacksburg, Virginia as part of Tuck Clinic of Chiropractic, P.C. Soon after, he started seeing patients in the Christiansburg office. He eventually purchased both offices from his father in 2002. After his father’s untimely death in 2006, Dr. Tuck merged his father’s clinics - creating what is now Tuck Chiropractic Clinic (www.tuckclinic.com). Tuck Chiropractic Clinic has since grown to be the largest chiropractic group practice in Virginia utilizing a team approach to care with the highest standards in clinical excellence.
As a community member, he has served on numerous boards including the Blacksburg Chamber of Commerce, The Boys and Girls Club, and The Montgomery-Floyd Chapter of the American Red Cross where he served as chairman for three years. He is a current member of the Christiansburg Rotary Club, Christiansburg Moose Club, Hokie Club and Blacksburg Sports Club. Dr. Tuck has received many awards including the 1998 John Stoke Literary Award, the 1999 Small Business Person of the Year Award, and the 2004 Virginia Chiropractic Association Chiropractor of the Year Award.
Dr. Tuck has worked with many individual athletes in his private practice. In 2007, Tuck (along with two other Tuck Chiropractic Clinic doctors) became the official chiropractor for the top 10 nationally ranked Christiansburg Blue Demon wrestlers – a relationship that continues today.
Today, Dr. Tuck is proactively involved with chiropractic locally and nationally. He is a past president and active member of the Virginia Chiropractic Association. He serves as the delegate for Virginia to the American Chiropractic Association and also serves on multiple ACA committees. Dr. Tuck is also the Executive Director for the Association for the History of Chiropractic.
